dialog’ is rooted in the Savoir-Relier methodology — a relationship-based approach to learning and development. It unfolds through four stages — Self, Others, the Group and Society — and is grounded in three core values: Authenticity, Altruism and Collective Action.
Together with the Savoir-Relier digital platform, the methodology helps people build trust, strengthen relationship skills and learn how to connect and collaborate more effectively.

Origins
30 years of research. and practice A proven method
dialog’ grew out of the Savoir-Relier methodology, developed through psycho-sociological research led by Valérie Gauthier and her team at HEC Paris and MIT. To date, more than 180,000 people across 195 countries have experienced the approach.
Savoir-Relier pillars
Three qualities to connect differences
Genuine
Be authentic, sincere and walk the talk
Generous
Listen and give your attention to others
Generative
Look for new and common solutions together
Dialog’ began with a simple conviction at the heart of Savoir-Relier: we don’t have to agree to connect. We can see the world differently — and learn from those differences.
The game also draws on Alan Cowen’s research on emotions, further explored by the HEC Paris team, to create a scientifically grounded framework of 18 core emotions, adapted to 6 for younger children.
What began as a game for teams in the workplace soon became something much bigger. From the very first trials, schools, families, hospitals and local communities saw its potential and began making it their own.
Since the first prototype in 2022, dialog’ has evolved through four versions, shaped by real-life experience and different audiences — leading to the bilingual edition launched in 2026.
Dialogue according to dialog’
Neither a debate,
nor a conversation
A process of structured exchange that helps people move beyond language barriers, emotional reactions and prejudices to truly listen, understand others and connect.
Dialog’ creates a safe space where people can truly listen, pay attention to one another and build mutual respect — opening the way to new solutions.
When dialogue breaks down, tensions grow. It can fuel conflict, bullying, disconnection and division. That’s why we created dialog’: a practical tool that helps people reconnect, understand one another and find better ways forward — together.
Savoir-Relier is a method to create bonds of trust and the simple pleasure of being together.

They support us
The trust of committed partners
We believe dialog’ has the potential to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to children’s and young people’s relationship skills and emotional well-being. By helping them express emotions, listen to others, navigate differences and build stronger relationships, dialog’ can strengthen resilience and help prevent the everyday tensions and harmful behaviours that can escalate into bullying at school.
Fondation Okola
Fondation Okola
Okola is an endowment fund dedicated to supporting the physical, social and mental well-being of children in France, with a particular focus on preventing bullying in schools.
Okola supports the implementation and evaluation of dialog’ in schools and local communities, while helping the association prepare for its wider rollout in the future.
Naos Lab — HEC Paris
A research lab dedicated to advancing our understanding of relational leadership and how it can be developed in practice. The lab funds and supports a research project built around dialog’ and the Savoir-Relier methodology, bringing together behavioural science, leadership and education.
Its role is to explore, test and measure how these practices can help teachers and leaders build trust, navigate differences, strengthen collaboration and create more effective learning and working environments.
Programme Jeunes Innovateurs, HEC Paris
The Jeunes Innovateurs Programme gives high school students the opportunity to experience 15 days of hands-on innovation training. Designed to promote equal opportunities, it can count either as the compulsory work-experience placement for 10th-grade students or as part of vocational training for students in vocational high schools.
Since May 2026, the programme has reached more than 800 students across 30 high schools in the Paris region, Marseille and Toulouse, with over 32 teachers trained as facilitators.
